Training on Financial Crime Investigation for Security Academy Students.

PAMECA V organized an open training for seventy-two third-year students of the Faculty of Security and Investigation, Security Academy, on 12 November 2018.  The two-hour training program “Financial investigation techniques to fight organized crime- from drug trafficking to the reuse of illicit proceeds” was initially moderated by Mr Ilirjan Mandro, the Dean of the Faculty, and facilitated by International Organized Crime Expert, Mr Mirarchi. The training module comprised of: techniques for identifying indicators of financial offences, understanding money laundering schemes and methods of preventing and tackling money laundering as proceeds of drug trafficking. This activity served to provide professional expertise and further improve the capacities of law enforcement officials on financial investigation techniques.
