Today, on December 13th 2019, PAMECA V delivered a training on “Operational techniques of police officers for searching buildings and persons, through theorical notions and practical simulation exercises”. This training activity was attended by 75 third-year students of the Faculty of Security and Investigation, Security Academy.
The training program was designed to provide information regarding the best EU practices as regards the procedures of conducting effective search of premises and persons, safeguards of the subjects undergoing the search, seizing evidence properly without altering and damaging it, the importance of teamwork, elements of writing effective minutes, etc. The training activity was introduced by the Dean of the Faculty, Mr Ilirjan Mandro and facilitated by PAMECA V long-term organized crime expert, Mr Maurizio Mirarchi.
An authentic didactic video with simulated exercises on the topic, carried out by former SA students and under the guidance of PAMECA V, was displayed so that participants could constructively analyze the actions and performance of their colleagues, based on the theoretical knowledge provided to them during the first session of the training. This created an interactive and engaging atmosphere among students.
