Training on “Legal framework and Operational Techniques related to the Search of Premises and Persons” for FSI

On 8 June 2020, PAMECA V international experts on organized crime delivered a training on “Legal framework and Techniques related to the Search of Premises and Persons, through theoretical notions and practical experience”.

The training activity was attended by 30 students of Faculty of Security and Investigations of the “Course for Criminal Police Officers”, Security Academy, and Mr Ilirjan Mandro, Dean of Faculty of Security and Investigation, was present for the opening remarks.

The training content provided essential information on legislation and procedures, safeguards of the subjects undergoing the search, how to write effective minutes on the search operation and the importance of teamwork and close collaboration with the Prosecution.

Furthermore, the best EU practices as regards operational techniques of searching premises and persons were outlined.

At the end of the training, several recommendations were provided by the experts, on how to conduct a lawful and successful Search operation.”
