The Team Leader of PAMECA IV, as the main EU funded project closely assisting the Albanian State Police, among other law enforment agencies in the country, was invited to take part in the sessions of the SEPCA General Assembly meeting, which took place in Tirana on 15 April 2015.
The Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) meeting this year took place in Albania as the country currently holding the chairmandship of this Police Professional Network composed of the Police Chiefs of Southeast Europe as representatives of their National Police Authorities.
The members of this association are the chiefs of the police services of the Republic of Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Hercegovina), Romania and the Republic of Serbia.
The objectives of this association are to improve police cooperation between members, develop professionalism and facilitate reforms in the police services.
The main topics discussed in the General Assembly meeting held in Tirana, were the fight against the serious and organized crime and the fight against international terrorism.
