The Team Leader of PAMECA IV, Mr. Butini, accompanied the Albanian State Police Director, Executive Leader Çako to the annual Foro di Roma, an event organized between 5-6 December 2016 by the Italian State Police, with the support of EUROPOL.
This event is an annual meeting of the chiefs of police of the Balkan region. The permanent working group, established in 2013, sits the police chiefs of several states and representatives of some international organizations such as INTERPOL, EUROPOL and SELEC, the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center, an international body that brings together the Southeast Police Forces European.
This year the meeting, chaired by the Chief of Italian Police, Prefetto Franco Gabrielli, was housed within the Superior School of Police. The participating states were Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Hungary.
The topics discussed in this year’s symposium were migration, terrorism, the nature of predatory crimes and re-investment of earnings by organized crime.
Accompanied by the PAMECA IV TL, the ASP Director Mr. Çako had a bilateral meeting with the head of the Italian Police General Director, Mr. Gabrielli.
