In the framework of Component Two, and specifically Activity, 2.2 of the PAMECA IV Work Plan provides for support to further develop Crime Analysis, in particular in the field of corruption, develop internal cooperation and coordination among Institutions, PAMECA IV organised the Workshop “Tax Heavens: Characteristics and International Instruments for tracing tax evasion”. The Workshop was held on 12th of October 2015, at the premises of School of Magistrates with the participation of 3rd year students, as a continuous training course. One Italian Lawyer and Professor of International Tax Law, Mr. Diego Del Vecchio, introduced the characteristics and international instruments and one concrete case on tracing tax evasion.
The Workshop was very useful in terms of exchanging views and sharing the EU practical experience compared to Albanian experience. The workshop was followed by a professional and interactive technical discussion.
