Training Workshop on Auditing the Performance of Budget and Finance Directorates
On 28-29 March 2019, PAMECA V organised the second two-days training seminar on auditing the performance of budget and finance directorates, which brought together participants from Professional Standards Directorate and Audit Sector from ASP, from Prosecutor’s Office and from the Ministry of Interior. The training was opened by Mr Arben Saliu, Director of Professional Standards Directorate at ASP, and Mr Giovanni Pasqua, International Expert of PAMECA V. PAMECA also recruited an international and a national short-term expert, who shared their rich experience in this area. During the workshop it was highlighted the importance of audit performance, which should be closely related to the career progress of police officers. Both audit performance and performance evaluation should be considered as two crucial instruments to be widely utilized by the managers of Albanian State Police in a fair, transparent and impartial way.
