Specific issues concerning identification of risks and measures to address corruption and integrity related issues at State Police, responsible structures to handle such issues and definition of concrete and measurable indicators were widely covered by the experts during the tele meeting.
Mr Giovanni Pasqua, PAMECA V LTE on Human Resources, and Mr Paulo Costa, Head of Police Program from DCAF, reiterated the importance of this process and appreciated the determination of the members of the Working Group to conclude the development of the Integrity Plan that could serve as model approach for all the Albanian Institutions.
This is the first time Albanian institutions are preparing an Integrity Plan, therefore both PAMECA V and DCAF have expressed their commitment and contribution in assisting their counterpart. This is the second tele meeting, apart the three training workshops of the members of the Working Group, with the scope of providing assistance on drafting and preparing the Integrity Plan as per the international standards.
