Introduction of Integrity Plan in Tirana
On 22 June 2021, PAMECA V and DCAF (Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance) organized the last round of the regional meetings on the implementation of the Integrity Plan, training on police integrity and risk assessment that was held in Tirana. At the opening remarks Mr Giovanni Pasqua, PAMECA Expert on Organised Crime, speaking also on behalf of DCAF, highlighted the importance of this process and saluted the intensive interactivity of police representatives during the drafting process. He reiterated the commitment of PAMECA V and DCAF to further assist Albanian State Police on integrity related issues.
Representatives of State Police also highlighted that implementation of Integrity Plan, monitoring and training on police integrity should be now the focus of State Police in order to ensure the continuity of this instrument and to help this institution to prioritise the objectives and goals.
