Italian Delegation led by the Italian Police Deputy General Director Prefetto CUFALO in an official visit in Tirana meets with the heads of law enforcement agencies, main beneficiaries of PAMECA IV project
The Italian Deputy General Director of State Police also Director of the Criminal Police Central Directorate, Mr. Antonino CUFALO, accompanied by the PAMECA IV Project Leader, Director of Italian International Police Cooperation Service, Mr Gennaro Capoluongo, were in an official visit to Tirana on 20 -22 September 2016.
In Tirana, the Italian Delegation was received in meetings by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Albania Mr Saimir Tahiri, the Albanian State Police Director, Executive Leader Haki Çako, and the General Prosecutor Mr Adriatik Llalla during which topics of mutual interest for the two countries were discussed, the satisfaction of the Albanian main beneficiaries with the Italian led PAMECA IV project as well as the way ahead.
Minister Tahiri handed Certificates of Appreciation to the Italian Police Deputy General Director Prefetto Cufalo and to the Director of International Cooperation, General Gennaro Capoluongo, in gratitude for the valuable contribution they have given to strengthening cooperation in the fight against crime.
The Italian delegation visited the premises of PAMECA IV at the General Directorate of the Albanian State Police where they met with the project staff.
Throughout the whole visit, the Italian delegation was supported by the PAMECA IV team and accompanied in all meetings by the PAMECA IV Team Leader, Mr. Giorgio Butini.
